Students are trained in a broad swath of drug discovery techniques and have strong foundational knowledge of both chemistry and biology. Graduates acquire both soft and hard skills that translate to both academia and industry.  Students are exposed to non-academic careers in our seminar series and university workshops that include industry-affiliated speakers with recent visits by scientists from Novartis, Hospira/Pfizer, and Eli Lilly.
