Abstract:

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a key cofactor participating in multiple biological processes. Functional NAD+ analogues enable in-depth investigation of NAD+-associated biology and pathology. Using chemical approaches, a series of novel NAD+ mimics were generated. These synthetic molecules provide valuable tools for studying protein post-translational modifications as well as for developing innovative targeted therapies.
